Capturing Memories
Capturing is meant to be frictionless: get the thought in, and let MemoriesByScott do the tidying.
Type or speak
Create a memory by typing or speaking — whatever's faster in the moment. You can also capture conversationally through Memory Chat. Whatever you put in is kept as the memory's raw input, so the original is never lost.
AI does the structuring
After you capture, AI processes the raw input in the background and extracts structure from it — a title, a description/summary, a category, relevant tags, and any locations mentioned. You don't have to fill in fields; the memory comes out organized.
Attachments
A memory can carry attachments — images show inline, other files as links — so a memory isn't limited to text.
Once captured and processed, memories are searchable by meaning — see Finding memories — and can be tidied further in Organizing memories.
